tips: building a fire (approaches)
"log cabin" (self-feeding fire technique)
recommended over the "teepee" technique
script:
Fire building 101, by manly man Tye.
Place larger branches on bottom in a log cabin square style.
Placing small pieces on top and finishing with kindling.
Place balled up paper on fat wood or what ever you have in the middle at the bottom
If you have access to dried pine needles sprinkle them on top. The resin will help keep the fire going in the early stages
Light, as the fire grows it will fall in on itself as a self feeding fire. Add logs as needed.
